Introduction
Twelve years have been invested in the development of Fenzian. There has never been a negative side effect from Fenzian treatment. Many thousands of patients have been treated over this period for a wide range of conditions.
As word of Fenzian spread patients for whom other treatments had failed visited our Hungerford clinic as a ‘last resort’. Fenzian has been able to help in many of these cases and a body of anecdotal evidence has been accumulated. Evidence of this early work was independently reviewed and published in the 600 patient audit reported in "The Pain Clinic". These findings paved the way for the clinical trial programme which began with an asthma pilot study in California. Asthma was chosen for this initial trial as a successful treatment outcome could not be attributed to local action of the Fenzian device at the surface of the skin. The multicentre FAMOUS asthma study is due to complete in June 2012.
Scientific and clinical research has been undertaken at the Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre and continues. Two papers have already been published and further Manchester publications are expected during 2011.
“My neck hurt so much that turning over at night I had to turn a tiny bit at a time - in 20 small (excruciatingly sore) stages. After Fenzian treatment, I have full movement again.”
